Getting there from Birmingham New Street
- Direct train from Birmingham New Street to Great Malvern (West Midlands Railway), every day.

- Town pavements and park paths, then steep surfaced and grassy paths onto the open ridge. The summit is exposed: it is colder and windier than the town.

- St Ann's Well Cafe, in a building from 1813, about halfway up. Great Malvern has plenty of cafes near the station.

- The steepest walk on this list. Bring a warm layer and a hat for the top, and check the cafe's winter opening days.
