Privacy notice

What we collect, why we collect it and what you can ask us to do with it. One notice covers members in every country. Last updated 2 October 2026.

Who we are

Mirth is a trading name of Specvista Technology, the data controller. Contact: hello@specvista.com, with Mirth in the subject.

What we collect

  • When you join your city: your name, email, country, city, what you would like to do, your level, and whether you are interested in women-only events if you tell us.
  • With an account: your profile (name, photo, phone number, city, interests, level), how you signed in, your bookings, check-ins, debrief votes and crews.
  • For each event you book: a trusted contact, and any medical notes you choose to give. Medical notes and your phone number are encrypted.
  • Exact location only if you share it during an event window. It is encrypted and deleted 48 hours after the event.
  • Payments are taken by Flutterwave. We never see or store your card details.

Why we use it

To open your city, place you in groups that suit you, run events safely, take payment, and email you about Mirth in your city. Our lawful bases are your consent for marketing emails, the contract with you for events you book, and our legitimate interest in keeping events safe. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Your debrief picks are never shown to anyone. Other members only ever see how many people want to go again with them.

Who sees it

The Mirth team. Hosts see only the members of their own events, and see a trusted contact only while a safety alert is open. Our processors are:

  • a hosting provider that runs the private servers and database
  • Resend, for email
  • Flutterwave, for payments
  • Ubriot, a Specvista Technology product, for app notifications

We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.

How long we keep it

Until you delete your account or ask us to, or 24 months after your last sign-up, booking or event, whichever comes first. Safety reports and the insurer's event register are kept for as long as the law or our insurer requires.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, EU GDPR, Nigeria's NDPA and similar laws, you can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, or withdraw consent. Delete your account from your account page, or email hello@specvista.com. In the UK you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or to your local data protection authority.

Former Sorelia members

Sorelia accounts moved to Mirth with the same login. Sorelia couples data is archived, read only, and not used by Mirth. You can ask for a copy or for it to be deleted.
